University of Houston-Downtown's Basic Peace Officer Training Academy provides students with preparatory training in the law enforcement profession. UHD Training Available Courses T he Training Division of the University of Houston-Downtown Police Department provides periodic in-service training to its sworn and civilian personnel. However, attendance is available at most qualified TCOLE training by active duty law enforcement employed with other agencies. UHD LAW ENFORCEMENT ACADEMY In order to be eligible to enter the Basic Peace Officer Certification Course you must comply with all the requirements as stated and listed.
